Amherst bus driver video that has gone viral on social media platforms such as TikTok shows a school bus driver using inappropriate and offensive language at the students.

The video shows a frustrated driver who had parked the school bus, making her way toward the back, where she begins yelling profanities at students.

She threatens to start “kicking some serious” expletives, and her foot will be so far up their expletive that it would dangle out of their nose.

“I’m sick of you… I’m sick of all the ((expletive)) I’m done with. I’m going to start kicking some serious (( expletive)). Do you hear me? My foot’s going to be so far up your ((expletive)), it’s going to dangle out of your ((expletive)) nose. I’m done with you! Put that phone in your bag now and give it to me,” the driver shouts.

“I will walk off this expletive bus right now and let you people ((expletive)) walk home,” she adds. “How much more do you think anybody can freaking take?”

The driver warns the students to put their phones away and give them to her; otherwise, she would walk off the bus and let them walk home. The driver’s behavior was inappropriate and unacceptable.

The incident prompted an investigation by the Amherst Exempted Village School District.

In a letter sent to parents by Amherst Superintendent Mike Molnar, the district confirmed that they were investigating the incident and that the driver involved had resigned.

The letter stated that the behavior exhibited by the bus driver was unacceptable and would not be tolerated.

The actions of the driver did not represent the values and standards upheld by the district, which is committed to providing a safe, caring, and compassionate educational environment.

The latter also said that the district’s Transportation Department would review its procedures to ensure situations are handled appropriately and safely.

The district will also continue to support its bus drivers with proper training and professional development.

As Superintendent, the focus is on creating a positive and safe environment for all students and staff.

Open communication and constructive feedback from the community help to create a stronger and more supportive environment.

The incident highlights the importance of proper training for school bus drivers.

As individuals responsible for the safety and well-being of children, bus drivers must receive adequate training on how to handle challenging situations appropriately.

They must know how to communicate effectively with students and resolve conflicts in a calm and professional manner.

The district’s commitment to supporting its bus drivers with proper training and professional development is commendable

The Amherst Exempted Village School District did not reveal the bus driver’s name.
