Taylor Swift had a night to remember at last night’s American Music Awards. The 29-year-old racked up five awards on Sunday, bringing her AMA total to an impressive 28 awards over the span of her career.

This makes history as Swift topped the current record held by the late Michael Jackson, who had 24 AMAs in total.

Not only did Swift snag this top spot, but she was also honored as Artist of the Decade. For a person in their 20s, such an accomplishment is almost unheard of.

Last night, Swift took home awards for Favorite Album — Pop/Rock, Favorite Music Video, Favorite Female Artist — Pop/Rock, Favorite Artist — Adult Contemporary, and Artist of the Year. She sang some of her hits including “Love Story” and “I Knew You Were Trouble.”

Speaking of trouble, her ongoing feud with Big Machine has been a topic of interest, and Swift took the stage in a shirt covered in the titles of her first six albums, now owned by Big Machine Records, much to Swift’s disappointment and disapproval.
