Vince Coleman is a retired American baseball player who played left-fielder during his career.
Vince Coleman started to play baseball when he joined the Florida A&M. While with the team, he was a kicker and a punter. Then, he was drafted in the 10th round of 1982 Major League Baseball by St. Louis Cardinals.
He played for the Cardinals from 1985 up to 1990. Then, Coleman signed up for a four-year contract with the New York Mets. But with his stint with the Mets cut short when he was traded to Kansas City Royals in 1994.
Other teams that Coleman played which includes Seattle Mariners, Cincinnati Reds and Detroit Tigers. His accomplishment as a baseball player such as National League's Rookie of the Year in 1985, two consecutive year as All-Star in 1988 to 1989, among others.
