50 Cent has gotten himself into hot water again. On Friday, the rapper decided to share a screenshot of his direct messages with Will Smith, who blasted him for his comments about Jada Pinkett Smith's past relationship with August Alsina.

The "Candy Shop" rapper contacted Will after his and Jada's frank conversation on Red Table Talk. On the show, Jada admitted to having an "entanglement" with August while she was separated from Will. "Yo Will you alright over there?" 50 Cent wrote. "Yes i’m cool, I appreciate your concern my brother," Will responded.

50 kept pressing the issue, asking why Jada would "tell you that sh*t on a show" for the whole world to hear, to which Will responded, "We broke up so she did her and I did me."

"Then she said only SHE can give permission for somebody to blow her back out," 50 replied, which set Will off. "F**k you 50," he wrote back, though 50 didn’t seem to understand why Will was offended.

August talked about his relationship with Jada in an interview last month, saying Will gave him his blessing. On Red Table Talk, Jada said she met August four years ago and that the singer had approached her when he was "sick" and needed help. She began a relationship with August when she and Will separated.

Alsina is a New Orleans singer-songwriter, who released his first mixtape The Product in 2012 followed by the mixtape The Product 2 and his debut extended play (EP) Downtown: Life Under the Gun in 2013. "I was done with your a**," Will said of their separation. "We decided we were going to separate for a period of time, and you go figure out how to make yourself happy and I'll figure out how to make myself happy."

Jada admitted her "entanglement" with August was a "relationship," but denied that Will gave August "permission," noting no one needs to give her permission. She added that the relationship made her feel good for the first time in a long time. She also said it felt good to help someone heal, something she attributes to her co-dependency issues.
